An Issue in Solana Caused Network Time to Be Back 30 Minutes

An issue in Solana caused the on-chain time to drop half an hour behind real-world time.

According to information shared by Solana Status on Thursday, the network’s clock has deviated by about 30 minutes from real-world time due to longer ideal block generation times on the network. While Solana’s ideal block generation time is 400 milliseconds, recent data shows it has reached 746 milliseconds, almost double that value.

In the statement, it was stated that the issue had no effect on network performance. But transactions on the network seem to show different time zones.
