Farfetch Announces It Will Start Accepting Cryptocurrency

Farfetch, which operates an Amazon-like platform with products from approximately 1,400 luxury brands, has become the latest luxury brand to announce that it will accept cryptocurrency payments. The company will accept seven cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum and Binance Coin, according to a post on its website.

Browns, the boutique store owned by Farfetch, already accepts cryptocurrency payments. “With this move, we look forward to encouraging our boutique and brand partners to adopt cryptocurrencies,” said José Neves, Farfetch founder and CEO.
